I've seen some TAB that's in Drib D tuning with a capo on the fourth, and some TAB in standard tuning. I remember this is a little easier, every bit in less awkward on the fingers to play. It sounds great when playing by yourself, and I retrieve this is the tuning Lindsey Buckingham actually uses for this song, withal there is a note from Mike Wallbridge at the end of the file saying otherwise. Savour. Comments and suggestion welcome. Notes: ====== Capo: On the 6th fret if you lot want to play in the aforementioned key as on the Rumours album. Timing: I use 4/4. Tuning: I utilise "nigh" Open C tuning, from depression to high, CGDGBe. That is, drop the 5th string (A) to Grand, and drib the 6th cord (E) to C. I tried open up C (CGCGCe), but information technology fabricated the song a little more difficult. Fable: h = Hammer on / = Slide . = Beat - = Half vanquish Notes on playing ================ The beat is played past the thumb. Lindsey Buckingham'due south style of playing on this item song (and many others) is to use the pollex to pick the bass notes (very regularly), while his other fingers pick the high notes. I've made the timing of the notes as authentic every bit I could. Other songs that utilize this same sort of picking design are: Landslide - past Stevie Nicks (from Rumours, 1977, and The Dance, 1997) The Chain - by Fleetwood Mac (from Rumours, 1977, and The Dance, 1997) Big Love - by Lindsey Buckingham (from The Trip the light fantastic, 1997) Intro & Poesy Due east|---------------------iii-----3-----|---------------------three-----3-----| B|-----one-------0h1-------1-----i---|-----1-------3---one-----1-----ane---| G|---------------------------------|-------------0-------------------| D|-----2-------0h2-----------------|-----2-----------two---------------| M|---------0---------------0-------|---------0---------------0-------| C|-0---------------0---------------|-0---------------0---------------| . - . - . - . - . - . - . - . - She bankrupt down... According to an interview with Lindsey, he double-tracked the song on Rumours playing it in Dropped-D tuning, which every bit you say is not quite so easy. In the aforementioned interview he supplied the tab for the song and I transposed it exactly into C Wahine tuning to see how it came out. A couple of days afterwards I institute the enclosed site with exactly the same tuning and the same notes that I had worked out. Information technology is a fuller version that y'all accept at present and, I think, identical to what Lindsey played if in a different tuning. Promise y'all enjoy information technology if you are nonetheless at this address. If you ever manage to work out the tab for the very much slower and different alive version of the vocal I would appreciate you letting me know. Thank you Mike Wallbridge *************** |================================| | Tabbed past Vu Le on 27-6-2001 | | v_le@hotmail.com | | Comments? | | Suggestions? | |================================|
